Spring is all about baseball for us. Most nights and weekends are spent at the fields. It is a busy, hectic time of year, but I absolutely love it.
Here is a look at our porch all decked out for baseball this Spring.
And a cute dog in the picture too!
I keep those planters on the porch year round and switch out what is inside depending on the season. By the way, I got them at Lowes 2 years ago at the end of the season on major clearance. They weren’t the color I wanted so I spray painted them black! (That storm door was also spray painted black)
Right now, I have a pair of those tall boxwoods that I got from Costco in there. When it gets a little warmer, I will add some white petunias to spill over the sides.
Pete and I made the baseball wreath a few years ago. I recently put it on a new wire form because the old one had lost its shape. You could do this with softballs, tennis balls or even golf balls?! I have a tutorial coming for you for how we made that!
I layered mats on the porch. The home plate one was a little too small to stand alone, so I added this indoor/outdoor rug underneath of it. This is also a great option, but it didn’t come in a smaller size in black. I have this one layered on the inside. Lots of layering going on here!
That’s it- a simple and classic baseball theme!
New light coming soon- I just can’t seem to find what I have in mind.
